This will include not only streaming environmental telemetry (with an open protocol to allow others to contribute), but a database of anecdotal and photographic evidence that documents accelerating climate change. During the voyages of Nomadness and other vessels in the loosely linked flotilla of technomads, this site will be the repository of all environment-related information... including the source material for a book.
Please check back occasionally for updates between now and the time this site goes live. At the moment (November 2006) I am focused on ship system and packaging projects; as departure draws near, my attention will turn to the "back end servers" that provide our various public interfaces... bloggish tales, environmental telemetry, ship virtual console, podcasts, and the extensive series of interviews related to my primary research mission.
